Job description
Atiba is seeking an experienced Drupal Contractor to support ongoing development, upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance for Drupal-based websites and applications. This contractor will work closely with our internal software team, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality updates and improvements with speed and attention to detail. Anticipated hours for this role are up to 20-40 hrs/week for approximately 6 months.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running—comfortable working independently while staying responsive and collaborative with a fast-moving team. Must be authorized US worker residing in the United States.
Job requirements
Essential Function
Working knowledge of PHP/JS/CSS/Responsive programming.
An understanding of building custom Drupal modules from the ground up.
Has a basic understanding of how to build custom plugins.
Has an intermediate or advanced understanding of Object Oriented PHP.
A basic understanding of Git.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2-5 years of Drupal development experience or equivalent work experience
PC experience, especially in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with the Atlassian Jira, MS Office Suite
Working understanding of WordPress / Joomla Website CMS
Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Drupal migrations
Experience with Acquia, Pantheon, or similar hosting platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Accessibility and SEO optimization experience
Experience integrating Drupal with CRM or marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
